Hiya, and thank you all again for taking the time to take my little quiz.

This is a True or False quiz, however, please feel free to add your comments.

If you would like to discuss any of these questions Please start a new thread or visit a similar thread already in progress. I ask this so that this thread does not become a discussion for 20 separate topics.

I will not be grading this quiz, as I am unsure of many of the answers.

Naturally, false - spirits aren't physical. He may be able to assume a physical form that has horns.

True.

Debatable, but seems true imho.

Depends which "thing" you are referring to.

12) The Davinci Code was heresy.
Don't know if it's "heresy", but its theories are false.

13) The Passion of the Christ was heresy.
From what I remember, false.

14) Oh God! was heresy.
Don't remember enough of it to say.

15) Jerry Falwell was a saint.
If he was a true Christian, true. All true believers are saints.

17) Humans are animals.
Depends on your definition of "animal".

18) Greed is a sin.
It certainly causes a great deal of sin, not sure if it is in and of itself.

19) Revenge is a sin.
By anyone other than God, true.

20) Jesus was sinless.
True.

True, for the most part.

False. Fiction? True. In poor taste? True. Heresy? Nah.

False. In poor taste? Perhaps, but not heresy.

14) Oh God! was heresy.

False. Although not completely doctrinally accurate, it wasn't hersy, and overall, I thought it had a positive message.

That's for God to decide -- not me.

5) Heaven does not exist yet. False. I think heaven exists, just not the 'new heaven and a new earth' that's described in Revelation.
6) Hell does not exist yet. hmm..not sure...I think that hell as we think of it will exist after the Last Jugdement...and now, it's just a spiritual state of separation from God, or pain of His presence for those who hate Him. I'm really not sure.
7) Satan has horns. False. Maybe he'd like us to think that so that we'll take him less seriously.
8) God has pets. False? I don't know, lol.
9) Eating pork on a Friday is okay. True.

Personally I consider there is a huge difference between posting thoughts and sharing beliefs and setting up threads that are designed to bring focus to our own knowledge and present a platform for division and confusion....particularly on multiple levels

"I answered true ...but so and so answered false..."

"I think this...but they think that...."

For some...this could be a huge stumbling block....causing doubt and confusion (we should all remember not everyone reading through the threads in this forum are grounded in God's word)

The concept alone...promotes that we judge one another.

I also find it quite concerning when there are stipulations such as....

Just answer the questions and take your discussions elsewhere...(this is the "red flag" IMHO)

If the purpose and intent of these 20 questions threads are to not promote a heathy exchange...then what is the purpose?

To test our "knowledge"??

To set a platform to shine a flood light on the conflicting beliefs/understandings among us?

Please understand...I'm not "judging" anyone who participates in the these "quiz" threads...as it is quite obvious that many have demonstrated a heart to bring edification and give glory to God.

What I am suggesting, however, is that we take a moment to discern the effect of these types of threads

Being a newby in here I'd like to ask what have been the effects of these threads so far? Has there been some damage done?

If it does set a platform and shed some light on people's beliefs does that make it something negative and dark? I don't look upon other's beliefs as something I have to dissect and scrutinize and 'judge'.

Let's lighten up a bit and get some attitudes of love and acceptance going on in here.

I find them somewhat entertaining, enjoyable, and mildly thought-provoking.

As the original poster, I would like to ask that folks not alter the the original topic of this thread.

I have clearly stated this topic in the first post.

I have also encouraged discussions, but have merely asked that resulting discussions be moved to new threads, so that this thread does not become the home of 20 separate discussions.

Thank you to all of you who respect this.
