I was curious as to whether the OOC has certain prayers and different cutoms related to prayer! Do you all pray the Jesus prayer? And anything else you want to tell me! Bye-Bye!

We have our liturgies
and yes of course we use the lord prayer at each service .
we also pray the hours

Of course you can pray them. There's no copyright on talking to and worshiping God :)

And yes, the Jesus Prayer is a strong tradition. It is not only the center of monastic worship, but every personal Christian who realizes their sinful nature and their need for Christ as their Savior.

We also encourage personal prayer, and not just the written prayers here. These written prayers harbor discipline and aid to your personal prayers and relationship with God, not the absolute law of prayer used.
