don't, not dont'
Are you always this much of a nitpicker? Making an issue out of a typo is really sad. Why don't you just do us all a favor and admit you have a bug up your butt because you disagree with my statement about Saul not seeing Jesus, in the verses I quoted from Acts.

Your comments about Paul seeing Jesus are supported by verses in Corinthians and do not deal with the verses I am talking about in Acts. The reason you do this is beause you know as well as I do, that in the Acts text, it never says that Saul actually saw Jesus. That was my point.

You should sell your gun. Jesus wouldn't own a gun. Which would you rather have protecting you, angels and a wall of fire, or a gun? I'll go with the angels thanks.
Fine you go with the angels when you're in a home invasion scenario. If you actually survive, let me know exactly what happened. You have no grounds to claim that Jesus wouldn't own a gun, other than your personal preference. You're arguing from silence again. Jesus told His followers to sell their cloaks and buy a sword. Why would He do that, if He didn't want them to protect themselves?

Why is it everyone on this forum acts like a bunch of babies?
First it's picking on a typo, now it's name calling. You're too funny. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your vast wisdom with us. We're all so blessed now.

We are not to kill. Did Jesus kill anyone? no. he is our example.
No but Jesus did tell His disciples to arm themselves, and that is what I have done. Deal with it as you see fit, cuz I ain't selling my gun.

Jesus didn't get married or have kids either; there goes the farm folks.

Ya know, I'm sorry, but I think some of this is bogus.

> Where is it in the text that Saul SAW Jesus? It isn't in there!

YES IT IS!

1Co 15:8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

the word for seen being:
G3700
ὀπτάνομαι, ὄπτομαι
optanomai optomai
op-tan'-om-ahee, op'-tom-ahee
The first a (middle voice) prolonged form of the second (primary) which is used for it in certain tenses; and both as alternates of G3708; to gaze (that is, with wide open eyes, as at something remarkable; and thus differing from G991, which denotes simply voluntary observation; and from G1492, which expresses merely mechanical, passive or casual vision; while G2300, and still more emphatically its intensive G2334, signifies an earnest but more continued inspection; and G4648 a watching from a distance): - appear, look, see, shew self.

1Co 15:1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,
1Co 15:2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,
1Co 15:4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
1Co 15:5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
1Co 15:6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.
1Co 15:7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
1Co 15:8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.

After Jesus had appeared to James and all the apostles, He then ascended into Heaven. I believe what Paul is saying here is that when he saw the bright light, He thought that was Jesus, because he heard the voice of Jesus. Where was the voice coming from? The heavens. Paul did not write that he actually saw Jesus in bodily form. You can take the verses that way if you choose, but I think you're making a leap there and not a logical leap since Saul was struck blind. He couldn't see anything.

It's sad when all you have left is to pick on people's typos. If that's what he likes to do, he'll be on this forum for many many years, because there's typos all over this place. The difference is that most people here extend grace to their fellow posters. He extends judgment and ridicule. I know I'm floored by his flawless imitation of Christ. NOT!

no one is "picking on" the typos of anyone. you're being a little sensitive, don't you think? and Saul most certainly did see Jesus.

And I don't know how you expect to be "harmless as a dove" with a gun.

Honestly, I ignore these types of combative posts -
He wants to claim love & peace as if only WEAPONRY is involved... but a rude attitude can equal weaponry as James teaches about the tongue.

Anyways, I just see no fruit in continuing w/ people like this which is why I ignore it.
