Adopt FSB Protocol?

Recently there was a very little discussion about adopting the Forum Specific Ban protocol in this subforum. It can be found in the wiki discussion (http://foru.ms/t5721783&page=2&nw_show=comments).

As there weren't any "nays" in that preliminary discussion, I thought we should go ahead and put it to the vote.

If you want to adopt the ban protocol, vote yes.
If you do not want to adopt the protocol, vote no.


If adopted, we will add a statement to the rules that we have specifically adopted it but will probably not include the entire protocol in the rules themselves.

I don't wish to influence your vote, but only to clarify what you're voting for, speaking in a staff capacity...

If you choose not to adopt the already existing FSB protocol, then the responsibility is on you to come up with your own FSB protocol.

Please understand that there is currently no mechanism in place to facilitate an FSB in this forum, so I would encourage you to either consider officially adopting the existing procedure, or come up with your own process sooner rather than later. Until you do, no FSB's can be executed on this forum.

I think the existing one works well enough, instead of having to define a new one.

Tamara, I just reread your OP. In order to use the FSB Rule, you need only to link to the rule itself in our rules. Take a look at the SF/PC Rule sticky for an example. ;)
