View Full Version : Urgant Prayer For Aunt

My aunt Georgia has had two brain bleeds in the past couple weeks. This last one has left her unresponsive and I called her nurse and she said that it is irreversible and she is just being made comfortable now.
My mom had a brain bleed before and they said there was no hope of her being normal again, but God had other plans and she is almost like it never happened.
I pray for Gods will but also for my aunt to be responsive again. She is in Good shephard hospital in barrington, Illinois and I am in Connecticut. I cannot see her. :( :groupray:
She is a Christian.

Father I lift up this woman before You. I pray healing in her body right now Father. Let her be a witness of Your power and might. Strengthen her family and loved ones, give them peace that she is in Your hands and that You have control.
In Jesus name Amen.

I am praying for your Aunt. She is in a very good hospital (I grew up in that area). I will pray that God will give her strength, comfort and healing, and that God will help her doctors decide on the best course of treatment! I will also pray that your family is comforted by the knowledge that God is holding us all in palm of His hand... especially your Aunt during this, her time of need!

Thanks for all the prayers. My aunt has been brought home to die. :( They have even stopped giving her life sustaining nutriants. I feel this is the cruelest thing in the world. I'm heartbroken and have prayed for a painless passing for her. No one should be left to wither away like a flower. :( I can't take thinking about this.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I pray that the Lord will comfort her and make her path home to Him easy and as painless as possible! I will also pray for you and the rest of your family that the Lord will give you comfort, peace and strength during this time!
This is never an easy thing... Just try keep in mind that she will be going home to our Lord, and he will wipe away all her tears, and she will be restored to full health with no pain or suffering... That's what I tried to focus on when my Mom slipped into a coma before she passed... It's so hard, but I think it's harder on those of us left behind than it is for those who are going to be with the Lord and the loved ones that have passed on before them! Even if your Aunt is not conscious I think their spirit is still around, and she will appreciate knowing you are all there and thinking of her. Don't be afraid if she can't respond... Just a loving touch, or reading from the Bible, or her favorite book I think is a good thing even if they aren't showing signs of hearing us...
Sending Love, Hugs and Prayers your way dear!!!

I'm sad to report that my aunt passed away on Saturday night. :( I do know that she is with God in the mansion that was built just for her. Thanks for the prayers, I know it was just God's will that she not live in pain and suffering anymore.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Aunt's passing... I have been thinking of you and your whole family, and you have all been in my prayers this whole time!
I'm also very sorry not to have seen this message until today... It's alright though as the Lord knows what prayers are needed, and I'm sure you all still needed the prayers even if your Aunt is already in heaven and no longer suffering!!!
Again, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Aunt. It is always hard on those of us left behind even when we know they are with our Lord now...

Tangeloper's response is very compassionate. This is a very painful situation. And I can imagine by this time she is in God's presence. So, Father, I pray for comfort for this family. Surround them all with Your loving hand. My heart goes out to you in this painful time.
