View Full Version : Another Resignation

It's time. I need time.

After spending mid November '06 to early January '07 , on my back, in the hospital, with cellulitis, sepsis, kidney failure and in need of some serious dice & slice on my leg . For the first 3-4 weeks, it wasn't all that certain if I would make it, or not. I did. Three surgeries , a skin graft & some sessions of dialysis later, I was ready for the next hurdle. It then took from early January to mid March to learn to stand and walk again in a rehab facility.

Since then I still haven't gotten totally out of the woods health-wise . I wanted to leave to better focus on getting better. But I saw the confusion that it was leaving & had to return (after a big 2-3 days:doh:)

Right now, after everything I've been through & am still facing, I can't justify putting as much as I should into being on staff.

You won't be totally getting rid of me... I'll still be around making trouble... just now junior staff won't have to pretend to listen;) (As IF, the ever did, anyway!!^_^ )

I'm therefore, starting a poll. to elect Oblio as the Ecumenical Team Orthodox Admin. He's well qualified & will be an asset to the ET, & Foru.ms in that position

I'm asking that only Orthodox ET staff vote in this poll

The poll will be open for seven days, or until at least 4 out of 6 Orthodox ET staff members have voted.

Aaawww Rob - this place just won't be the same without you! How will I manage without your acerbic little bon mots coming through every once in a while? They always made my day. And I shall treasure those "lovely" photos you shared with me! I've actually seen the real you!!

God bless and keep you safe, brother.

Rob,

You deserve a break. Oblio will be a great help! Thank you for setting this up so you could take your "retirement." I'll let you know if I'm ever in Jersey!

I say you need a major break. I hope you rest up and heal quickly. If you say Obio is the best, I'll vote "yes" for him. Take care, and I'm so happy you plan on continuing to participate here.
