Okay Angels,

We're short handed, with a lot of work to accomplish...so I'm reverting what I know works:

Recruiting!!!! :clap:

There are:
signon bonuses for new Angels
referral bonuses for existing Angels

and...

the best part!!!!

We're gonna party besides!!!:pink:

Prizes will range from 2000 - 5000 for number of people invited and extra prizes from the armory for those Angels who refer members who submit applications. :tutu:

Nope only 2 miles...and it's more of a fast walk these days...that 10k I did for cancer last week really put this new knee to the test...think I might have overdone it a bit so soon...it's only been 3 months :P

When blessing newbies, where do all these blessings come from. I have several things going that use up about 10k per week. Would not want to take away from that to undertake another project.

Do you have something in place to prevent redundancy...meaning do you just try and see what others have already done or is there assigned sections that each angel works?

I am not trying to be difficult just want to be sure I can fulfil any committment I make.

We have the 4UBlessingsAngel for blessings funds... I have been given plenty of blessings for Angel use, and I am keeping track of them on my own.

It is my understanding that many Angels are not active anymore since the site changes, and Gwenyfur and Saucy are working hard to organize the Angels once again. There is a thread where Gweny is taking suggestions. It appears there were teams at one time - perhaps that will be an option once we get more recruits...?

I think each Angel has their "own style" of doing things... I am new - but I have my own system running, and it seems to be going well so far for me... when I am "working" I seek out newbies (Newbie threads, Blessings Exchange, Homepage announcements of new members, and anywhere else I see a new member). I welcome them in their thread if they have one, sign (open) their guestbook, and send them a Welcome PM with 100 blessings. I have standardized my messages (and tweak them individually as needed), which makes it much easier and faster to welcome more members in a short amount of time, and give them useful links. About half the time I get a response from a newbie asking for assistance with their character or questions, etc., or just a thank you for making them feel welcome. My main objective is to get them into fellowship in an area of interest.

I have made it a point to visit the prayer threads, but I have not posted there as of yet. I also check the birthday list daily and PM members with a 50 blessing birthday gift.

Pete, you do so many wonderful things in the Blessings Exchange and have an ability to get members involved and feeling welcome - I think you'd make an awesome addition to the ForU.ms Angel Team!

I'm interested in becoming an Angel but I'm concerned that I may not be able to keep up the commitment in my upcoming exams (I'm finishing school in November). I'd be fine after exams and for a while before. Is it a problem to take a break for a while?

No, taking breaks for real life concerns is never a problem, just remind me when you need to take your breaks so I don't loose track of which Angels are active and which aren't :)

Well most angels do between 20 - 100 blessings...birthdays, some do 50, I do whatever age they are...personal preference there as well...

In our Information, Application, and Volunteer list is a current (I hope) list of Angels.

And the checkin/out contacts thread is where you can see who's been welcomed/blessed etc.
I'm not worreid about duplications, or multi welcomes/blessings being given out, new members appreciate the welcomes...and the blessings when they start makign characters, pets, gaming etc.
