Christian apologetics is the field of study concerned with the systematic defense of Christianity. The term "apologetic" comes from the Greek word (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_language) apologia (απολογία), which means in defense of; therefore a person involved in Christian or Bible Apologetics is a defender of Christianity. Christian apologetics started with Yahshua's Apostles. The skill was a crucial part of establishing christianity through the building of Local Churches throughout the Mediterreanean Sea area. At a time when cults and the occult had a stranglehold sometimes over entire cities and even Nations.
