View Full Version : I am stepping aside
BBAS 64

Good day, Protestant Staff
I am writing to you to announce my resignation as your Administrator. I have been on staff here at (CF) for three years and your Administrator for the last two. It has been a pleasure serving with you here at (CF), but other things have been keeping me away and feel my time has come to step down.
I have great respect for each and every one of you, and I will always view this team as far and way the best team of members to ever serve here at (CF). My heart will always be with you and I wish you all the very best in Christ.
I am going off to Fla. for vacation the first 2 weeks of Oct, so my last day of serving in my current capacity will be Sept 30. In stepping down I am endorsing as my replacement, Jo (flaglady) she has served the team well as well as the membership the (CF). I am asking that you follow my lead and lend Jo your support as your new Administrator.
I am planning to keep this poll open for 10 days or until 51% current protestant staff votes have been cast for or against my replacement.
This poll is restricted to current E/T protestant staff only.
Love in Him,
Bill

I believe that this poll should be in all congregational forums, not just ET HQ. I don't think we have the power to elect anyone, but I may be wrong so please enlighten me :)

Good Day, Jim
It is not an election pers-say', rather it is an internal team "promotion". Much like the way administrators promote mods (elected) to S. mods (appointed) and S. mods to Supers (appointed), I am taking a Super and promoting her to an Administrator.
In Him,
Bill

i like Lel's idea.
flaglady is a supurb trainer as she has so ably demonstrated, and that position would play to her strengths.
I've always thought that the training at foru.ms should be centralized, with a specific dedicated staff enabled to carry out that mission. Can you imagine how much time that would free up for the rest of the Supers to concentrate on their forums???
Jim has been so faithful thru all the changes and he has a wise head on his shoulders. i think he would make a fine ET Admin, and he would add the balance to the team of a traditional Nicean which should please many congregations.

Bill,
We were "classmates" together in April of 2006, being trained for staff my Heather (I required a lot more teaching than you!)....
You, Erin (erin 74) and I were the original Supervisors of the Ecumenical Team back in June of 2006. I SO much appreciated the closeness the 3 of us had in those days, working closing with ksen and (back then) with the 3 Catholic supervisors, too - building the Ecumenical TEAM as a TEAM....
YOUR ability to steer through the ever increasing politics, wars and desires to divide were always amazing to me. It all ended up destroying me (I seemed to have been the Protestant by far easiest to kick out).
THANK YOU for all your hours of phone calls and many PM's and all the work you did to try to support and assist me.
I will be forever thankful to you....
Thank you!
Pax
