Please pray for me

I have been having some health problems for over a month. I have an infection that four rounds of antibiotics have not been able to cure, plus strange pain and pressure that is quite worrisome. I tend to have problems when I get an infection- my immune system kind of sucks.

I need to take care of my kids. Please include me in your prayers. I'm starting to get really scared that they won't be able to get rid of this infection. Thank you.

I try not to be a hypochondriac, but I'm starting to get really worried. I came very close to dying in 1998, in a very similar situation. I had a pocket of pus in my abdomen (doctors still don't know how it got there, though it ended up being related to an undiagnosed urachal cyst), was misdiagnosed with a hernia, had surgery which just spread the infection everywhere, and ended up a real mess. It was the closest I've ever been to death.

I have an infection in my abdomen again. At first they thought it was a UTI, then I was diagnosed with PID (uh... considering PID is almost always a side effect of chlymidia or gonorrhea, uh, NO), now I don't have a diagnosis - they're waiting for the results on a bunch of tests I had done today. No one knows why 4 different antibiotic treatments were completely ineffectual. My cousin had a number of my symptoms and it ended up being uterine cancer. She's only a few years older than I am.

It's funny how becoming a parents changes your perception. I really don't even care about my own self in this (though I don't think I'm ready to meet God yet- I'd probably end up in hell, honestly), but I HAVE to be there for my kids. I can't bear the thought of anything happening to me before they're grown up.

I probably wouldn't be so paranoid if this wasn't such a deja vu of a situation that nearly killed me 9 years ago. I hope in a month I'm laughing this off as having been totally ridiculous to get so worked up over. Please pray - if not for my benefit, for my kids'. They need me.

I, too, had a miserable immune system when my kids were little. I found that B-Complex helped to boost my immunity, along with lots of rest.
