I'm wondering if anyone knows someone who can sew a Russian style outer and inner cassock on rather short notice (2 weeks)?
Also, does anyone know where you can buy the round buttons that go on vestments? Eastern Christian Supply only has one kind and they are not very exciting.

Mine was made by http://www.kwvestments.com/ and it's perfect. I don't know if she can get one ready on such short notice, though, and I don't know if she makes "Russian" style vestments... actually I have no idea what the difference is...

whew, two weeks?! i don't know if anyone out there will make a quality cassock in that amount of time. My good cassock from Etna, CA took 3 months, usually 1 or 2 months is a good speed. You could buy an off-the-rack if you're feeling lucky, and if the man that's going to wear it is a "standard" size guy. Just steer clear of Istok.ca, their off-the-rack Russian cassocks fit very strangely. I'd give Nikita Borisov (http://www.nikitatailor.net/) a shot

Kr Krista is my Priest's wife. I know that she's done short notice in the past (I don't know about HOW short, though...)
Khaleas, give her a call.
