...I would really appreciaite it.

(Mods- Please don't move this to prayer requests, I only know people here.)

UGH
Financial issues just cause SO MUCH stress and personal issues with dh and I.

Praise the Lord our congregation has decided to help us. But after paying bills we *still* barely have enough to last a week and a half. Every month it is the same thing.

Plus we have a traffic ticket we need to pay.:sigh:

Plus I bid on two tiny ebay things when I thought we had the money(to replace the Sarge I had to recall for lead paint)

Now here is the part that sounds flippant, but I swear it isn't. Please do not preach to me money/budgeting on this. My kids have been saving for Disneyland passes for quite some time. Due to circumstances, we had to use some of the money they had already saved.:( They were just given birthday money. If we actually had that money we used, they would be almost able to get those passes. And normally for every single birthday my grandpa gives them a big amont of $$. Rather than neede things, this time I was going to go ahead and use it on these passes.

But my grandpa came to our little family celebration and forgot the cards. :sigh: I know he wasn't changing his "policy" because he even discussed how from now on only his grandchildren under 18 were getting that $$. I made the mistake of gearing the kids up for it, and now it may not happen

I know if you are not near Disneyland this sounds silly since you do perfectly fine w/o DL passes. But the thing is I *am* around DL. And many of friends with kids and other people we know do to. This would have been one way to hang out with them without having to spend money each time. It would have been a great thing to do when there was no money in our account but the kids were bored. I even had plans for an entire HS curriculum based on DL. (Seriously)

So as stupid as it my sound, please pray my grandpa gives them that money - and soon. We were hoping to go to the homeshool day on the 19 of this month.

Yes, I know if my grandpa gives the kids that $$ we could get usefull thing. Yes I know it seems odd to buy DL passes when we struggle with the necescities. But if I used that $$$ it would be gone in less than a month. I would rather scrimp even more so that my kids have a year of disneyland to lookforward to than using it now for that new jacket when a thrift store one would do.

It is hard being barely able to keep our heads above water:(

Oh, Heather - I'm so sorry. I know about those passes - I'm 1-1/4 hours from DisneyWorld and most families I know have those passes.

Can you speak to your grandfather about the oversight?

Also, have you read The Autobiography of George Muller? He lived in the 19th Century Bristol England. He taught me all I know about praying for my needs and KNOWING that they will be supplied - sometimes just minutes before deadlines. It's a real faith-building book!

May the Lord work this out for you and your familiy.

May you trust the Lord for each day and know that planning ahead and making promises to children is one of the toughest positions to be in it all doesn't pan out. I avoided promises to children. "We will see"... has and will continue to be my mutra. Nothing promised til the last second as we arrive. "We will see" is said every step of the way.

 :prayer: May the Lord be with you as your peace in this situation and may He care for you and for your children. :prayer: Do not be anxious. Anxiety is from Satan. Be at peace in Christ and know that He is in control. :prayer:

Oh sweetheart, I understand. I know what its like to go hungry to make sure the kids eat. And to live a half an hour from Disneyland for 15 years an never go. Remember they have you, and your love, and they HaShem. I will keep all of you in prayer.
