I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this...thinking it should have been a mod.

Feel free to close this thread is that is the case. :sorry:

Another thing we need to see is if someone can moderate two forums on different teams. (I know of at least one other mod in a similar situation.)

Voting yes, anyhow :P

Well, I voted yes, because I am also a member of his other forum, and jameseb rocks in my eyes!!!!!

And I'll vote yes when an official poll goes up as well

jamesb is an ecumencial trainee, correct? i think (and i'm just guessing) that the proper procedure will be to wait until he's finished training and then "taken the test." after he is a full moderator (which, i assume will be shortly) then he can apply for additional duties.

i recognize that it is pretty much a pro forma decision at this point but i believe that is the straight dope...(i could be wrong, as normal).

He's a trainee mod for the conservative political forum.

CC could definitely benefit having you as a staff member here. I could add you to the Debate team right now, but you should probably wait for OWL.

About cross-team moderation, well a Recovery moderator (Protinus) is moderating WWMC, so there is precedence for it.

First, Trekki, it's the thought that counts. Thanks! And thanks to the rest of you too. :)

Tonks & Letalis - I've taken and passed my test (since I was previously on staff I went straight for the test) so I'm just waiting for Owl to add me to the Debate (PoliCon) team right now.

He has my sponsorship. Move forward with this, please. I will PM Jim, Flaglady, and Tishri to be 100% sure.

Thanks all but the mod elections have a formula and need to he placed by a staffer - preferably the Congregational Training Coordinator (me!!! ^_^) so I will close this and reopen it in the proper format.

No biggy - but best to keep things on an even footing, eh?

Will get it going again very soon.

God bless all here. :groupray:
