I'm sorry for the mess I have caused!

Hello,

I just want to say I am truly sorry forthe mess I have caused by my involvement in the CC forum. I really messed up there because I perceived an injustice in some of the posts in that forum.

The situation should have been handled in a different way, I know now. As I am new to the role of a moderator, I ask that you forgive me my foolish beginner's mistake and please let me try and become more unbiased and "pporfessional" in how such problems should be dealt with.

Again, I am sorry for the mess I made, and for any hurt caused for CC, WWMS and the ET!:|

As I said in WWMC, I don't want you to be sad. No-one should be sad because of an internet forum. It doesn't make any sense. What hurt us was the wiki you started, because it *seemed* to be written in a way that was attempting to make everyone think CC is just a bunch of horrible people, and that's simply not the case.

You have to understand that CC *is* a haven for people that now feel very unwelcome at CF. It's also a baby forum, so we're finding our feet and working out our rules. All other forums have had years to fine tuen their rules. So what you saw as an injustice was a discussion thread - and we need to be allowed to have that. We decided on our own it wasn't what we wanted to do, but having people read your wiki and then tell us how crap we are wasn't nice and it made walls go up because being attacked isn't nice. That's about as well as I can explain it from our side.

I have not started any "wiki" on CC, I just pointed aout taht your forum was about to implemet a procedure that I thought was not right!

I trying to keep up with what was going on and I know many feelings got hurt, but just wanted you to know from me that I'm too much of a softie to be mad or anything like that. :) Our forum is still growing and we're still hashing out the details. I appreciate your apology and if there is any forgiveness on my part that needs to be given...then I freely and willingly give it to you...:)

When you start a new job like this moderating thing, at first it can be hard to find the right pace and lkearn how to step up to problems properly. I am a n00b here in ET, but I will learn. And this certainly was a lesson I learned the very hard way!
