Hi friends. Just a quick FYI for y'all. I have chosen to take a break from this site. There is so much garbage going on and it gets worse every day. Corruption, agendas, etc. forcing our hands to be tied behind our backs, and the Gospel to be twisted and even denied at times. Dark forces are taking over here, and it's pretty hard to miss.
May God have mercy on them.
Add to that the fact that I'm getting ready for a huge move, and simply won't have time to chat on forums for quite a while now. That makes it a fairly obvious decision to do this.
I will miss the wonderful people I've gotten to know in the Fundie forum. If you would like to keep in touch, please feel free to PM me. I will check in from time to time to keep in touch. Chatting with all of you has been a wonderful blessing. I have grown and learned much in my short time here. And I very much miss those who left when the big changes went down. But I'm thankful for the blessing that has come from knowing each of you a little bit. And I look forward to meeting each of you on the day when we are together in Christ for all eternity.
Blessings to you all.

Wow. I had no idea things were approaching critical out there in the rest of the Forum outside of ours and the few other soundly Biblically based fellowship areas.
I reckon then it's probably only a matter of time before we start to get some seriously nasty insurgents visiting among us, most likely taking up the role as fellow Fundamentalists. I not talking about anything we've experienced thus far. I think what's next is the next level of trouble. Psychological warfare, etc.
And the coup de etat trick of placing a phony fundamentalist into every moderator position to attempt to drive us nutz that way.
Desmalia, good luck and safe travels moving etc. I've enjoyed your always sincere contributions.
I'll be leaving when and if things really get nasty as described above.

Dark forces? And who exactly is corrupt and has an agenda?
No one is forcing you to do anything. It's all in your head.
But it's your choice........

Let's not put someone on trial here for their honest opinions ok monkeypsycho. With a name like that, shouldn't you be commenting somewhere else and outside of the Fundamentalist area? The new rules were set up specifically to prevent these types of personalized attacks for our beliefs as Fundamentalists from those who have chosen to have other beliefs.

Welcome monkeypsycho, to the new and improved FORU.My$.
If you would like to know about corrupt dark forces, please avail yourself of a mirror.
These dark and corrupt forces are still visible when I look in a mirror, and I too was an agnostic once, so do not think you alone are Totally Depraved.

If all the bible believing Christians leave then this forum will completely go down the hill and the enemy will have won.
There has been a lot of damage done recently I agree, but we shouldnt give up until its over! The weight upon our shoulders will make us stronger.
on Christ the solid rock we stand, we wont sink!
We are salt and light (matt 5:13), if we all go and leave just the liberal (all religions lead to God delusion) and the athiest then.....................
:sorry:

Hey munchkin:wave:
I just found the fundamentalist forum a few days ago........
There is more unity here.
I had some experiences on general Theology (over a year ago) and Spirit filled/ charismatic that would make your toes curl!
I hope some fellow fundamentalists stick around, it would be a shame if tehre was not voice for truth:wave:

I learn how to better communicate by being here.
And there should be some presence of true Fundamentalists here, since these Forums as a whole, still probably still are the most trafficked "christian" areas on the internet. In terms of users online in one place. I see about 1400 online right now. Unless i'm mistaken that's huge traffic.
I've also a great interest in helping RC's see the way out of their predicament. We enjoy having the freedom to read the Bible here. That's not been possible for most of the time since RC-ism banned ownership of a Bible everywhere they could over a thousand years ago.
RC's get saved just like everyone else. By the Word sinking in and the Holy Spirit teaching them truth.

This and the Conservative forum are sort of bastions of light here. But people are trickling out inexorably. Not good.

This was a thread from almost a YEAR ago.....when ERWIN owned the site.
Many folks were not happy with the changes of 777.
But it is time now to move on from all that.

Weird. Those changes were short lived but about the best thing that ever happened here.

That's exactly how I feel....I don't want Des to leave because if we all leave who will stand in the breach?:(
I agree that we need to take breaks every now and again because it's hard day in and day out being on any forum. But we have to stay for the sake of the Gospel and for those who are still searching.:prayer:

I understand that you're disheartened Des, but please reconsider coming back, because if we all leave who will stand in the breach? We must stay for the sake of the Gospel and for the Truth.
Wow, you should have moved in by now:clap: Lots of hard work no doubt, but how great to move into your new home!
God bless you and keep you Des. I will miss you so much.
