O.K., here is a challenge. Post ideas for those who need them. Post easy and 'no excuse' type ways to stay active, such as taking a few flights of stairs instead of the elevator, etc.
20 blessings for ideas
10 blessings for those who implemented them.
Have fun and be creative.
p.m. me if you need a little help?

This summer I got a new bike. I started up a summer club, The Ultimate Fusion Fitness Club.
We walk and bike ride and do pilates or yoga in the park, or twice we used the pool of a member and did aquafit. WE HAD FUN ! Some nights we walked/biked and did Mary K feet.
This was my "extra" activity, and I really used my bike a lot more.

Here's what I do since the knee replacement.
I work 12 hour night shifts in downtown KC, in an area that the police don't patrol at all...it's too dangerous and ya don't go on the sidewalks if ya know what's good for ya.
Well, cyber command is 3 stories underground (servers production floor mainframe blah blah) and I sit in a chair chained to monitors.
We have a 7 storey secured parking facility attached to the building.
I take 3 breaks a night...on 2 of them I take the elevator to the parking garage and walk the incline (not the stairs, not quite that good yet after the new knee) for all 7 levels (going up is a good challenge) and for a cool down walk back down all 7 ... It only takes about 10 minutes to walk it all, but twice a night at least you aren't just sitting in a chair....
so anyway...that's for all you office workers like me who get chained to chairs and are rather immobile while working :)

Exactly what I was looking for. Never thought of the incline in a parkade. I have heard many unique ideas, and this is one of them.

Go to to shopping instead to take the car or the underground (of course if that are in you near area)
If you have little fare away and not live in a big city you can take your bike to shopping.
Talk to your neighbourhood (that maybe need to exersiceing) or friends and decide that that you can go together one or two times each week.if you want to get yours heart beat quicker you can go Nordic walk

Today I have for 30 minutes been on the step machine and around 15 minutes used tools to gain the muscles.
A little idea:idea: that I did today for exersicing: I went down to downtown with the underground.Instead to take the bus to another place to downtown I went to that place (two bustops) it took be about 20 minutes The bus came on same time to the place as i did:) ;)

That is what I thought, we call them subways in Canada, in the city where I live, we do not have them, our city is too small.
Thanks for the pic. that is a very beautiful underground.
I am not from New York, or even the U.S. but here is a pic. of the subway : http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1094429/2/istockphoto_1094429_new_york_subway.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/%3Fid%3D1094429%26refnum%3D424115&h=252&w=380&sz=47&hl=en&start=13&tbnid=mlaYj2NZd4cXFM:&tbnh=82&tbnw=123&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dnew%2Byork%2Bsubway%26gbv%3D2%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG
