Do any of you lovely people happen to know if there are any good bible study materials for younger children? I generally tend to buy most of our reading books through ChristianBook, but I can't seem to find anything suitable as a bible study aid, at least not by the descriptions.
I think that my main problem is in trying to find materials that aren't focused around the whole "you choose Christ" thinking. I have Luther's Small Catechism, but I have to paraphrase every sentence. lol It's a little stressful at times, just because I feel like I need to sit with a thesaurus in my lap all of the time. So, I thought I would look for something with some easier language for my 6 year old daughter. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks so much, Rev! That is exactly what I was looking for. :) I don't know why I didn't have Concordia Publishing House in my favorites. I had to fix that. :)

WELS has very good materials with their ChristLight Sunday School stuff, plus they have some for younger kids as well

I was going to suggest ChristLight, too.
Click here (http://online.nph.net/cgi-bin/site.pl?10435&categoryID=23) for the titles. It is through Northwestern Publishing House.
I've used these materials for my Sunday School class since I've been teaching.
When Jake was younger I used the "Little Visits With God" book. Is that still around? I thought they made new ones every so often. I read it as a kid and Jake really liked it, and it really puts the messages into stories that the kids can enjoy and learn from.
