Having read some more of the changes coming up, I am going to take a break, perhaps a long breal, from what used to be CF. At this time I have no desire to be a moderator, since it seems that even the sub-forums may no longer be "safe" in policing themselves. Besides, why do I want to drive up the active membership on a site ruled exclusively by one man who does not keep his word? Remember the poll results to roll back the changes to CF, how the date got pushed back and still the results were ignored.
Meantime, I have signed up and will be visiting this, which I found among my Baptist friends. Sorry Desmalia et all, it just grates on me the more I see this jo.ke

Oh come on JR. Are you just throwing in the towel? Come on brother, it makes no sense to just leave and take away all the good that you can do here. Please don't take the easy way out. What would Christianity be like if the apostles or the early Christians would have taken the easy way out? What would Christianity be if tribulation was taken as a sign of defeat? Jesus never said that it would be easy.

Have you resigned your leadership position yet as a Moderator of the Fundamentalist Congregation area of Foru.ms? If not, that's something you should do immedietely.
Remember the poll results to roll back the changes to CF, how the date got pushed back and still the results were ignored. I support Erwin's decision to remove the name "Christian" from his Forum. And i can understand "some" of the pressure that drove him to make the choice he did. I think things just got far too out of hand in the area of defining what a christian is. There was a conflict of interests between two seperate sides. #1 What Yahshua has said a christian is by His definition (He is the one who saves lost sinners #2 What men self define as christian. Letting that conflict rage makes life miderable.

It's not a "new christian forum" just because it self defines itself as "christian". What i see there is the same old run of the mill brand of liberal heretic forum that's self defining christianity. RC's have set up their shop right there in the middle of the place. "Upon this Rock" they call it. Based on the twisting of Scripture required to transform Peter into a "first" Pope. So easily debunked even using RC historic literature. Meaning even many former RC "leaders" and "theologians" rejected the invention. I need say no more to validate my opinion. That Forum ownership has NO spiritual discernment whatsoever. Revelation 17,18 covers what the will and command of Yahshua is regarding this.

Got love the folks who will find a way to bash a Catholic no matter what the topic at hand is.

I don't blame you one bit, JR. I wouldn't want to be a mod here either, knowing the kind of system that is being set up here. I really do believe that if the Fundie forum is going to remain as it is, we would have to agree as members to give all authority to the local mods and not take issues outside of the forum (no reports, etc.). But if you're not sticking around I'm not sure there's much point in any of us staying either, at least not for the sake of fellowship.
As for a new forum to join, this one was recently recommended to me and it looks very promissing.

I think the main qualifier of any "christian forum" has to be how they handle the emergency situation of our day. If the feeling in the air indicates a deep seated intolerance towards any frank discussions about the true nature of current events, then that Forum is nothing in the grand plan of our Creator except another backwater area full of nothing but worthless chatter. Bound by pride and duped minds.
