Christ is still here

Many complain that Christ has been removed from this messageboard due to the name change. Fact is though, He is still here as long as there are Christians here proclaiming His name and witnessing for Him.


We need to be witnesses for Him despite the name of the site.

The name change removes the dragging of christianity through the mud. Outsiders saw the name we had and judged the contents by the name. I think they were most often repulsed by what they discovered in the general free-for-all. Self-defined christians can be literally anything. Say anything. Do anything.

Yahshua defines who His true disciples are by His own Words. It's therefore impossible to "self" define ourselves into being His and of Him.

I predict a great evaporation of phony christians will occur around here as it gradually sinks in that self-definitions on "Foru.ms" are now irrelevant. There's just no more thrill in the game for them here anymore.

You know, all in all, I like the change, for the same reasons kobuk notes.

As long as the subforums like this one are allowed to run themselves I'll stick around. But if they decide that we will not be allowed to police our own little corners, I'll leave.

JRThat's exactly how I feel. I'm hoping that you and Richard will be assigned your "M's" soon so that a) FreeinChrist will have less of a burden on her shoulders, and b) so that we know we've got some "local" fundies running the show here and we can continue to fellowship freely.
