Are the views espoused by Rev. Dr. Rod Rosenbladt on the White Horse Inn representative of conservative Lutherism?

The Rev. Dr. Rod Rosenbladt is professor of theology at Concordia University in Irvine, California and an ordained minister in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Rosenbladt was educated at Pacific Lutheran University (B. S.), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A.), Capitol Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and The University of Strasbourg (Ph.D.).

Dr. Rosenbladt is a co-host of The White Horse Inn and has contributed to several books including Christianity for the Tough Minded, The Agony of Deceit, and Christ the Lord. He is known especially for his wit, Lutheresque sense of humor, and penetrating analysis of the contemporary church in the light of classical Reformation Christianity.

As a former student of "Dad Rod" as we call him, yes...but absent all the pietistic crap that you find in the middle states.

J.I. Packer, the great Reformed scholar, once said of Rod, "Rod, you not only believe Luther's theology, you embody the very man!"

Studeclunker knows him as well.

Attorney Craig Parton speaks highly of Rod Rosenbladt as do John Warwicke Montgomery.
