Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. Here (http://www.trinitylutheranseminary.edu/)
When I retire or close to retirement, I might consider going to a seminary school. This is a school that was formed in 1978 as a consolidation of Evangelical Lutheran Theological Seminary (ALC, founded 1830) and Hamma School of Theology (LCA, founded 1845).
Tell more about this school. Thanks.

Lol you gotta be kidding right? Your thinking about the ELCA now even though they've adopted the 3rd sacrament, of homosexuality. I just hope your up for it because I know you can administer communion, and baptism, but unless you're really into it, it may take awhile to administer homosexuality. :)

Huh? Yes, I know Trinity quite well. I went there. It's a fine institution. Know quite a few folks there now. I'd recommend it.

LOL is right on the attitude part. ;)
Could be since the "attitude" am seeing is making me think. ELCA may probably be bad as organization however members at non-ELCA is appearing to be bad. Some members I am seeing have wonderful attitude but others I am seeing are not.
Something to consider.

From my understanding, ECLA denies that the entire Bible is the Word of God, but that it "contains" the Word of God, and other oddities.

I've heard that mentioned by non-ELCA Lutherans here, but I don't think I've ever seen a quote from an official ELCA document that states that. If there is, please tell me where and provide a link or cite.
The ELCA Constitution, Section 2.03, states:
"This church accepts the canonical Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm of its proclamation, faith, and life."
http://www.elca.org/secretary/constitutions/ConstitutionsBylawsandContinuingResolutions2005.pdf
The words "deny" and "contain" are not in there.
