It's been 14 years since we've had a mishap like this. Please pray that they alive! As far as we know it's no one that just left our squadron but we just found out as well.
Our community is so small that it's bound to be someone we know in there...

Still no news but we keep praying for a miracle. While it's probably the safest aircraft in the Navy, it's the hardest one to escape from. Hubs is guessing they'll release their names today as missing. The current makes it slow to find the aircraft and it's past the continental shelf so it's DEEP water.
We were able to reach one of our friends yesterday who is in the squadron and although of course he can't say anything he was on the boat when it happened. He's safe and I feel horribly selfish to be happy that he is alright.
It's a small community so most people know eachother at least on some level.
So keep praying, please!

It's OK - there is nothing bad in your happiness for a good news about you husband.

Lord have mercy.

My husband was home (and of course I'm happy he's ok and he got extra hugs) but a friend of ours was on the boat and he's alright too.
Just received a message from the foundation we have and they have notified the families and we'll find out more later. Still haven't found the plane as of what she knew.

They have terminated the search, only found some debris but it's off the continental shelf so it's very deep there...
Please pray for the families!

Edit: The Navy has officially declared them deceased now... No names yet...
