Sop said that Christ could have already returned if 2 conditions were met:
1. the gospel was spread to the whole world
2. Christs character was revealed in us and by us
(my own words used)
Yes weve been preaching character reform and yes weve been doing outreach. But there is still something missing dont you think?
Look at Jesus, what one Man, yes He was God, but His power is just as much available to us, could do. Then look at our churches. Can you see a diff?
Id like to hear your opinions.

There is one prayer that was prayed by Jesus that we are working overtime to ensure does not get answered. He prayed "that they may be one." We continue to preach a theology that establishes fragmentation in the human race. It's all in our hands.

this sound like the belief the Jews had during the 1 & 2 centuary bc. 1 perfect sabbath and the messiah will come. Messiah's coming is conditional on us.
Hum something is wrong with that.

So, do you believe that it is up to God and He just loves to see us suffer? What is keeping Him from wrapping this up finally?

Putting the onus on God makes Christianity lazy. If we don't think we have something to do with it then we are lying when we preach Jesus is coming soon, we should then preach Jesus is coming whenever......

no,
In the fullness of time(prophetic time?)_, God sent Jesus born of a woman.
so god has a time table.

so god has a time table.
But is it driven by chronology or by circumstances? "I will come down when I am dressed" tells you when I will come down but it does not tell you what time I will come down.

Care to share what prophecies gave you that notion?
What IS the fullness of time?
How would folk had KNOWN "the fullness" of time?
IF we have nothing to do with this timetableg is a crewl JOKE....
Why suffer so many senseless deaths?
No honey, I beg to differ...
"that they would be one as you and I are one............"
We LOVE to divide and conquer too much...
It is easy to justify our arrogant and ignorrant desdain for our "heathen" brothers and sisters.....
Yup, gather up all the text we can find to justify why THEY do not deserve HIS promise.....

Ok, we have a role to play, but obviously were doing something wrong cause were still here. Anyone has any opinions?

It seems as though the character of Christ is NOT being reproduced in His people. Instead they (we) are given to dissention and strifes.
In my prayers I have been shown that the 144,000 are those who will make a clear and visible distinction in reaching the lost because the love of Christ will be manifest in their words and deeds. They are a chosen generation who will bring many to the Cross. They are not the only ones living at the end who will be saved but a special group which receives and moves in present truth -- and I do not mean in the traditional sense in which the church uses that term, either. All motion is relative -- the church moves away from that glorious destiny by standing still and refusing to budge, in my observation.

yes... are christians really following Christ? Are they really allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide into all truth..... I would say the answer to both is NO..... so we have to start at square one, follow Him...

The 144,000 are those who are alive when Jesus returns. It doesn't include the saved dead who are resurrected at Jesus' return.
This is what I heard David Gates say in a sermon, is he right?

What is the condition of the end times church? According to Revelation that church will be blind, poor, wretched and naked.

if that is the case, then I guess those who make up the church will not be saved...
