I also recommend a free subscription newsletter for US residents, www.persecution.com although some of the material is very graphic about violence to christians. they do have encouraging testimonies and ways we can help and pray for persecuted christians, they are a blessing to learn from even for newbie christians.


www.worldmissionarypress.org also has Free Scripture Booklets, these are available free for every part of the world. I especially like the one for children (they are great for adults too), The Way to God. the one called Help from Above is also popular.
