lets say one of my family members just broke their arm. naturally, it will heal regardless if you believe in God or not. but what im saying is that if no one has yet prayed about the situation of the broken arm, will God not look into the situation and put his hand on it until someone has prayed about it?

God knows all. Many years ago, he saw that a person may break there arm. He gave the body a means to heal. This is true for most things, Personaly, I refuse to pray for myself, But I pray everyday for others.

Yes, God works for the good of those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.

God may also move in people to pray. Too many times I've mentioned some event and someone else had been praying about it -- sometimes when I've not said anything.

i think it depends. God shows us divine acts of mercy simply because He is merciful. God is sovereign, so He will move according to His sovereignty. but i would say that there are some situations where prayer is needed especially in spiritual warfare. you'd be surprised how God can give other believers spiritual insight into certain situations just for the purpose of intercession. so as believers we are all called to pray for those that are saved and those that are not saved.

if you're saved and you pray, then God says that He will hear you (Job 22:27). so even if the actual person in your family is not praying for themselves, God says that He will deliver the one that you intercede for because of the cleanness of your hands (Job 22:30). so since you're saved, stand in the gap for them, and God will honor your prayers.

hope that helps.

God bless you!

God isn't a distant God. Our prayer isn't what makes things happen. We pray in hopes that what we pray is in line with God's will. So, God's will is still His will, whether something is prayed for or not.

I'm pretty sure you want to know if our God is "pro-active". I say yes.

As for His jumping in when no prayers have been offered... how could you know "no prayers" have been offered. All sorts of people are out there praying about lots of stuff.
Only God would know the who and what (and when)!

That’s why it’s important to pray in your prayer language as well.

What do I mean?

Ask GOD to Baptist you in his Holy Spirit, then open your mouth and thank GOD until you get it. Try and try and the evidence of baptisms are the gift of tongue. See… the Holy Spirit knows what to pray for and he GOD Spirit. So everything and all things can be covered.

This is a short version of what I’m trying to say more research will be needed.

God's will be done. Get used to it. HE is in control. Your job is to accept that little fact and thank Him again and again. My Mom died recently. I would have preferred a healing, but our Father called her anyway. May His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Not a sparrow falls without His leave.

Be thankful you have been called and surrender your world to His love and control. You'll find yourself more thankful each day.

God bless.
