Is anyone in here from any Vineyard Churches?

I've been attending one for a while, and I just got saved at a Jesus Culture and baptized during camping after the conference.

Jimbeaux is a Vineyard pastor, I believe. He posts mostly in the main Spirit-Filled forum, though.

We attended one for two years while in the States. Absolutely fantastic. My dad also was technical director for one of John Wimber's big conferences in the UK.

We're not attending a Vineyard just now, but my beliefs are basically consistent with the Vineyard. My wife and I pastored in Vineyards in Victoria (Canada) and also in Santa Monica CA.

We're missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) these days.

I attended one in Memphis for about two years in the late 80's. I have a good friend who is helping with a Vineyard church plant in Collierville right now. (I went and heard her preach Sunday night).

If I wasn’t where I am now, I would most likely be in a Vineyard.

Oh really? I know quite a few peers that have gone with YWAM.

We consider ourselves to be members of the Vineyard, but work and the inability to accommodate the disabled members of our family keeps us from attending.

Jim is my pastor, so I suppose that makes me Vineyard! ;)

I play bass in the praise & worship band at the Vineyard Church Nacogdoches (Texas).

Not a Vineyard member, but I've been favorably impressed on my visits to my local Vineyard church. If I didn't already have a local church I'm loyal to, I probably would join.

I go to Vineyard church but it's not a Vineyard church.

That sounds weird but it's true.

Ours is called Vineyard Church Int. We actually spun off from the Church of God 15 years or so ago. We were an Independent Church of God until recently when we bought some property and built a new church and Christian school. We changed the name to Vineyard Church (International) and Vine Christian Academy.

But we don't have any affiliation to the Vineyard Church organization. We believe alot like Church of God.

We have attended a Vineyard church many times when we visited my sister in Windsor, Ontario. My brother-in-law is a pastor and was helping out the pastor there a bit. It is a great church, and when the Lord called us out of the church we were attending in our own city, we couldn't find one. What we did find was just for us, however, but if there was a VIneyard here, we would be there.

If there isn't a Vineyard where you are, why not consider planting one? It's not nearly as difficult as many might imagine. You simply open up your home once a week and invite people to come and worship and study with you.

Yes, I'm aware of that, but we joined a wonderful cell church where everyone is a member of a cell or "home church", and it has just filled the bill, so to speak! Thanks for your considerate post!

I was born in the Okanagan! Have been to a Vineyard a few times, but don't find it gives what I'm looking for. Good music though.
