Cyber Corps is a gathering of Salvation Army Soldiers, Adherants and Friends, and those people who choose to make Cyber Corps a place where they like to meet on Christian Forums. We aim to be an inclusive community. You are welcome. We do not at this time feel the need for any rules outside those that apply to the whole forum.

General John Larsson once said that everything we say should be put through a sieve with three holes. Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? Maybe this could be called the 'ethos' of Cyber Corps. If we try to hold these in mind as we post, no additional rules will be necessary. No doubt we will fail- but we can aspire.

I certainly like The Generals quote

Ideas for rules?

All Salvationists and contributors to Cyber corps (say 10 posts?) to be able to vote on Mod elections etc?

All contributors to respect the Army doctrines (not necessarily agree with or adhere to personally, but respect that we do)

Debate to be allowed from non salvationists PROVIDED it is done in a respectful and responsible way. This has always been an area that I have disliked in other denom forums. Nobody wants trolls or people debating nastily or negatively, but many debates have valid contributiond excluded from them because of this rule.

Thats about it for now

Hope I've done the Wiki thing right

Never used it before

Is this for The Wiki or is it for one of the entries under the general wiki which discusses doctrine, churches etc under the Theology section?

Most confused...

It's for our congregation- Cyber Corps. Is it in the wrong place?

It should be in the Ecumenical Wiki forum.

I agree that the general forum rules are all we need. Of course i agree that if people want to come in then they should respect our views although i think it would be covered by the no baiting rule.
