since there is a new rule that mods can only mod in their assigned forums i'll help you here as much as i can. here is some background for the question that was asked.
unlike us, the Jewish people count their days beginning from the evening of the previous day. Thus an evening and a morning form one day (sunset to sunset, not sunrise to sunset) they are 1/2 a day ahead of us. So their Thursday actually begins at sunset on our Wednesday night. And Jesus was buried before sunset on our Thursday, but hours before their passover Friday. Both Friday and Saturday were Holy Days.
So that is three days in the tomb--(our)Thursday,(day and night) Friday,(day and night) and Saturday. (day and night)

Well, thanks, but that isn't what I needed. I wasn't clear.
I hate acting unilaterally to removed posts to a different thread or remove them. I am hoping a supermoderator or admin helps out?

I did look, Sue, but I'm not that strong on deciphering those kinds of arguments much less deciding upon them. Sorry. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b286/flagady15/smilies/worried9je.gif
