Well, first off, welcome to CF. It's really good to see someone so interested in faith and how to go about it. To answer your questions:
1. No. You don't need to register to attend a church. Just show up.
2. No. You don't need a bible to go to church. In fact, any church will help you acquire on.
3. No. There aren't assigned seats unless you attend very old fashioned churches where men and women are separated. I find those churches to be strange, but it might work for some.
4. No. There is no dress code. I'd suggest casual dress. Don't go naked, but a 3 piece suit is also not required. Be comfortable.
5. I don't know as you have to be baptized in water to go to Heaven. I don't really think you do, as we are all baptized in the Holy Spirit. And no, no where in the bible does is state you have to go to church. However, I recommend it, as it helps one to grow in their faith and walk with Christ.
6. Any church will help answer more questions about baptism and how to go about it.
I hope that helps some. I will add that these answers are only true in my own experiences. Others may be different. I hope you find the right answers.
God bless

hey welcome to the forums !!
i agree with everything rejectreality said.
i would check out some churches though first beforehand to see which one you like best.
but i would suggest going to one, it would strengthen you spiritually and you would have others to support you. and worship is just different and more powerful sometimes too.
luck, renee

1 - Do u need to regisiter to go to a chruch - No.
2 - Do u need a bible - No. Most churches that recommend you bring them will have pew Bibles for you to follow along in.
3 - Is there assianted seats. - Not for most churches. There might be some churches that are a certain kind of Orthodox or Messianic where you'll have to stand the whole time or be gender-segregated though. Again, most churches are not like this.
4 - Is there a dress code - Maybe. You can't go wrong if you dress as you would for a job interview. Some churches are more laid back than others, but after a Sunday or two you'll learn what they wear and you can adjust accordingly.
Also is it a sin to wait till im older to go to church? - That depends on whether your parents are dead set against you going to church or not. If you can make it to church, I encourage you to go.
Also if i died with out being baptized or going to chruch would i go to hell? - We are saved by grace, not works (Ephesians 2:8-9). However, becoming a Christian without being baptized is like getting married without a ceremony or a ring. It's just not something you do. Jesus commanded baptism, and this is the public declaration that you have died to yourself and risen with Christ. Our faith needs to be in Jesus for salvation, but if someone said he wanted to be a Christian but didn't want to be baptized, I would say something didn't take. Our attitude towards baptism needs to be "I want to be baptized," and if it's physically impossible for some reason, "I would if I physically could." Defiance against baptism is defiance against Jesus, since He commanded it.

JoshIcedogs: you've got some good answers already, so i only wanna respond to your last 2 questions.
Also is it a sin to wait till im older to go to church?
Also if i died with out being baptized or going to chruch would i go to hell?
-if your parents are against you doing these things, then wait. have you accepted Christ into your heart already? you can go ahead and do that right now if you want. but i dont think that God would ask you to break one of His commandments by disobeying your parents in order to obey Him. He wont send you to hell if you have accepted Him into your life. remember that He knows the situation you're in. so the most important thing right now is that you accept Him into your life and pray to Him regularly. and just wait to do the rest until your parents give you permission.
in the meantime, when you pray ask God to soften your parents' hearts in this area, so that they will allow you to do these things. remember that Jesus also had to obey parents when He was on earth. so we are to follow His example.
maybe if you try talking to your parents about how you feel, they'd be more open to you doing these things. maybe God wants to use you to get your parents saved? you never know. or if they see you going to church and you beginning to change because of God, then that'll draw them to God as well.
i hope this has helped you. God bless!

1 - Do u need to regisiter to go to a chruch
No. Anyone can visit a church. However, to be a member, you usually need to take a couple of classes, just so that they know you know what you're getting into, and be baptized.
2 - Do u need a bible
You're not required to have one, but it would be very helpful if you do. Do you go to school without your schoolbooks?
3 - Is there assigned seats.
No.
4 - Is there a dress code
Not a dress code, per se, but you are expected to dress in a way that shows reverence for God. For a young person, such as yourself "business casual" would be fine.
Also is it a sin to wait till im older to go to church?
No, but it isn't a good idea. If it's OK with your parents that you go, I don't see why you wouldn't go now.

Hi.. One thing I'd like to add here..
I don't know how old you are, but up until a certain age your parents are held accountable for you. So, let's say you were 8 or 9, or even 10, and really wanted to go to church to learn more about God, about Jesus, and they denied you that priviledge, well, they would answer to God for that. Not you. :)
Check out Church buses and things like that. They will come pick you up and bring you home. Almost all churches have ministries like that.
As far as you going to hell without being baptised...
I don't believe you would.
You are a child, being denied being able to attend church.
Baptism signifies the washing away the sin of the world, a new birth. There is alot of controversy about this, and alot of teaching on it. Right now, just concentrate on your salvation. Just remember one thing. Jesus can meet you in your bedroom, outside, no matter where you are. You do not need to go to church to saved sweetie..
Salvation is a gift that is made available to those who repent, believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose from the dead to save mankind (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10). This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being "good" (Ephesians 2:8; 1 Timothy 1:9). It is a matter of faith (acting out on what you believe according to God's Word concerning salvation).
God is ready and willing to help you—right now, and right where you are.
Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.Blessings!

As to the question about a Dress code; I live in a small town, and am a simple rancher, many of my brothers (towns people) Try to dress up, But I for one am not ashamed to wear my over alls into any church.
Remember, a church is a gathering of people to praise god, But the personal Relationship you have with god, Jesus, etc. is the most important thing one can hold in the heart.
Besides, There was a few words about humility, and heck, God sees me necked in the shower, so do follow legal dress codes, but wear what you can, and let the people in your church love you for who you are.
Heck, I don't recall Jesus healing Lepers under any kind of dress code. Anything else is a lack of humility, and just pompous Postering from temple money changers.

I see. So then, anybody who shows reverence to God by dressing in a way that shows respect is a "pomous, postering (sic) temple money changer" who lacks humility?
Well, at least you're not being judgemental about it.
Sure glad my folks taught me how to dress and not to judge others over such superficial things.

1. No, you don't need to register
2. It's better if you have one, then you can refer to it when the pastor preaches and read it when you're home, but if you want to wait and see which translation the church uses, then just go without it, and either get a bible if the church has some to lend out or just ask the person next to you to share.
3. Usually there isn't.
4. For the church I attend, unless we are having guest preachers, we dress smart casual, actually, anything fashionable and not too revealing will do. My pastor always say, we're creative and open in our methods in reaching out, engaging culture, but when it comes to theology, we're very conservative.
In any case, just call and check, because some churches might have a dress code.
I would encourage you to go to church soon if you can, even if your parents disagree; I've had friends whose parents beat them up or throw them out of home for going to church, but they still stood firm and went, and now, some of their parents are even going to church.

church is just a place for a group of Christians to gather to worship the Lord. its a group that you could relate to in so many ways, like never before. you could learn so much just by listening to other.
1. you dont need to register just show up at a church. just make sure this is a church that you like though. same branch (protestant, catholic, baptist) whichever. if you dont find one that fits, just keep looking, God will guide you to the one.
2. no, you dont need a bible. usually the church would give you a bible once you sit in a couple times and they see it. i myself didnt have a bible when i first went. but i was blessed enough and the church i went to was kind enough to provide me with a couple, different versions, so i could study better to be like the Lord.
3.no assigned seats. not usually. just have to find a seat.
4. usually for sunday, just dress nice, like formally, dressy. but it does depend for each church. like cargo pants and a button up is usually good.
one question : are you on gaia too ?? maybe its someone else, but your questions to this one posters is very similar.

1 - Do u need to regisiter to go to a chruchProbably not.
2 - Do u need a bibleProbably not, but buy one and read through it 3 times a year anyway.
3 - Is there assianted seats.Do you mean "assigned"? There probably isn't.
4 - Is there a dress codeProbably not, other than dress respectfully.
Also is it a sin to wait till im older to go to church? If you want to go, then why wait?
If you really want help, you might want to tell us a bit more about yourself; such as which church you are interested in and why you are interested in church.
