This is the Q &A thread for AV1611, whom I am nominating for moderator. Please vote in the poll thread. The guidelines for this thread are as follows:

http://www.christianforums.com/t5746767-reopen-mod-apps-see-protocol-and-procedure-here.html

5. The supporting moderator will start two threads.
a. A poll with two options. "Yes" and "Apply Later".b. A thread for Q&A with the candidate. In this thread there will be no more than ONE primary post per member (questions or statements)--with the ONLY exception being ONE additional post for one of the following reasons:1. to ask ONE follow up question (must be directly related to the original question)2. to clarify the orignial question IF asked by the applicatant, or3. to recant a statement made by the member in the original post the member made.c. While the application itself is no longer necessary, it might be usefull to use the old mod application to glean some of the questions for the applicant.6. The poll and Q&A threads will remain open for 7 days. At this point they will be closed.

7. The poll thread will be used ONLY for voting purposes. The only posts to be made in this thread are to indicate a change in voting. All other posts will be moved to the Q&A thread.

I have some questions. :)

1) How many accounts do you have on CF, and for what purpose?

2) I am guessing as soon as the doctors let JR out of the funny farm, he'll become our newest moderator. What kind of dynamic are you planning to have with him as co-mods? (I ask this because I think you two probably differ in opinion on many issues).

3) What brought you to the decision to apply for a mod position?

4) What do you hope to accomplish as a mod here?

5) How confident are you that you will be able to remain objective and fair with members here who disagree with some of your doctrines? And along those lines...

6) How will you deal with debates about the KJVO issue?

I have some questions. :)

Cool

1) How many accounts do you have on CF, and for what purpose?

AV1611 is the only one I use. I also have EvAng but that is not used anymore. I am sure there are some more floating out there but I do not recall them.

2) I am guessing as soon as the doctors let JR out of the funny farm, he'll become our newest moderator. What kind of dynamic are you planning to have with him as co-mods? (I ask this because I think you two probably differ in opinion on many issues).

I am used to working in a team with varying view points and I am convinced that we can learn of one another in ensuring that the Fundamentalist Forum is edifiying for the membership.

3) What brought you to the decision to apply for a mod position?

I was asked by FreeinChrist if I would consider applying and I was only too happy to do so.

4) What do you hope to accomplish as a mod here?

I desire to ensure that the Fundamentalist Forum is a place where Fundamentalists can fellowship together and grow in their knowledge of God and love for him.

5) How confident are you that you will be able to remain objective and fair with members here who disagree with some of your doctrines? And along those lines...

My own personal views would not cause me to be biased in enforcing the rules. The rules are there to enable the forum to work and work well and any who overstep the mark will be treated in the same way whether I happen to agree with them or not.

6) How will you deal with debates about the KJVO issue?

In what way? If a member opposes the KJV and breaks the rules they would be treated in the same way as the most passionate KJV supporter who did the same.

Good questions :)
