Hi, Conservative Christian forum.
I'm a self-described liberal when it comes to both politics and theology, but I'm not here to cause trouble. I'd like to say how glad I am to see an area in CF for our more conservative bretheren.
If liberal Christians are given the privilege of an independent subforum, I think it's only fair for conservative Christians to have their own subforum as well. There is 'Fundamentalist Christians', but the term fundamentalist is subjective and may not apply to everyone who posts here. I'm truly glad y'all got a corner of CF for yourselves.
I'm not going to cause trouble here because I believe that it would be hypocritical for me and other members of the "WWMC" subforum to complain about trolls on our board while trolling this board. I can't speak for all liberal Christians but this is one liberal Christian that will respect your subforum.

Hi Ringo -- thanks for stopping by!
I hope you'll hang out in both the "bridging the gap" threads so we can get to know you better. :)
I have occasionally ventured into fellowship threads in WWMC and felt most welcome there. I hope to return the favor now that there is a conservative forum.

Hi, Macrina! I'll stop by the 'Bridging the Gap' thread sometime.
I'm glad you felt welcome at WWMC. I can understand needing an area to yourself (nothing wrong with that), but sometimes, both sides cloister themselves in "liberal only" or "conservative only" areas rather than make peace with their opponents.

I'm OK, Mr. Jim. How are you? Thanks for asking.
There's a story behind the 'Ringo' username. As you can probably guess, I'm a big fan of the Beatles. When I started tenth grade at a new high school (we had just moved), a few people in my class found out that I like the Beatles and began to call me 'Ringo'. It stuck.

Better not let my daughter get near them. She has a gift with animals. I am not kidding. She walks up to dogs, and they roll over to get their belly rubbed. It is just like they recognize her somehow. It is the weirdest thing in the world to see but she has been able to do it since she was very young.

Yeah. I understand and respect that. I won't get in the way by debating or voting here, but I might pop in just to say hello from time to time. Just to let those with whom I debate know that even though we may disagree on a certain issue, it's nothing personal.

Thundercats, Transformers and even D&D make me feel old. I was an adult by the time that stuff came out.
D&D is heavily occultish. I knew a sailor when I was in the Navy, who was into it. He became so obsessed with it that his work suffered. He ended up going to Captain's mast because of dereliction of duty. D&D controlled him. I have known other sailors that became involved with the game. All of their work performance suffered. I would class D&D as something self destructive.
