I think that's just for the general vision the site should take.

I think that's just for the general vision the site should take.Thing is, dude, all these polls and thread after thread after thread of discussion and debate... what will actually happen to all of it? I mean, will any of it be ratified?

I think they're just to give an idea of the membership's opinion on these issues.

Who knows Erwin has said in the past we have to reach consenus but it's hard to tell what he means by that. Hopefully we will soon be able start using a majority rule system for voting on the rules at least in our own subforums I do though hope they will set the % required to pass at like 70-75% to ensure that we are really getting the rules in place people want and not creating more factions.

I don't mean to be rude, but how do we know these aren't going to change next week? I'm sure that a lot of effort went into making those rules, and I don't mean to dis the hard work, but honestly why should we respect anything we're told from the moderation staff? We don't know what is expected of us from day to day, they don't even know what to expect from day to day, I'm sure it's even more frustrating for them. I'm just going to continue posting like I always have and I am not going to even look any rules or the continual revamping of them.

This would be the second time the rules have changed.
