Are you in or near Colorado Springs?

I am not putting this on the regional forum because no one ever goes there and I need a response. :)

Does anyone know if there are any great churches in the area? I see New Life is there and they seem nice, anyone been there?


On a quick side note...I worry about tornado's and lighting strikes....we are moving there soon and I was wondering how much I should be worried about these things...?

tornadoes hardly ever touch down here and the lightning looks really awesome, but I never hear of anyone getting struck. As far as the churches, I only attend my own, but I do know there are a lot of evangelical churches such as woodmen valley chapel- (if that is the type of church you are looking for) you can also look at this list: www.usachurch.com/colorado/colorado_springs/churches.htm
