Hi! Here's the offer, if you want to adopt a pet, check out the adoption page and find the pet you want. Then come here and post how many blessings that pet costs, and I will bless you with however many you need, up to 500 blessings!

Keep in mind that you can edit your pet's appearance, name and even gender after you adopt a pet! It does cost a little, but it's a great alternative to creating a new pet when there are so many out there that need homes (I wish I had known I could change adopted pets before I created Sweetie).

Also, please be aware that your pet CAN die if you don't feed it. You should feed your pet at least every other day. It'll cost on average about 6 blessings a day to feed your pet. So please make sure that 1. You are on CF often enough to care for your pet and 2. You have enough blessings to feed your pet!

Why not try it in the Blessing Exchange area? I don;t think many people come to the pets section who don't have a pet already.... Just an idea.....

That's a good idea! I was just about to post it in the BE forum, but I decided to get the link to the adoption center first--and there are no pets up for adoption right now!!! I forgot they delete any homeless pets at the end of the month. So I think I'll hold off on posting it in the BE forum until there are some pets up for adoption!

Well, there's already a rabbit up for adoption... for 250.... and a cat for the same amount....

Its sad that it's only been a day since all those other pets went bye bye and there's already more up for adoption.....:(

Yes, it is sad. Now there is a new pet in there that was just made and is up for adoption for 500. Its only 1 day old! This is why we go through this every month. I think this month we should not push the pets that have been created new. If someone buys them on there own thats fine. But I don't think we should condone that behavior.
Keep a list of the older pets that are put in and let people choose from those. When the created pets are deleted at month end then maybe those people will stop making them when they don't get paid for them. The same for the ones who price them too high, like the 1000 from last month, just crazy.

Just bumping this up... I checked the adoption center this morning. There is a dog for 500, a horse for 225, and a puppy for 25.

I'll pay for the adoption costs for nine more people!
