Qoheleth is the only active poster in TAW who is in a Western Rite parish. Father John Fenton has posted a few times. He is a recent Lutheran convert with some of his parish, and he now leads a WR parish in the Detroit area. His blog is here:

There is a large, former Episcopal, WR parish in Fort Worth which I visited briefly for Vespers (Evensong).

I lurked in TAW and read opinions on the W-EO.
Interesting. Close to Catholicism, more of a western flavor and culture. :)

closer to high-church anglo-catholic Anglicanism - but I'm sure you'd approve of that as well :)

Yes, a traditional high chuch Anglican would feel right at home. Since I am a former Anglican Catholic, I have a certain interest in the WR (though I prefer the Eastern liturgy).

Speaking as a Jew/former anglican/former E-ox (oca-bulgarian)/probably going back Anglican:
I too loved the Eastern liturgy because of its mystical approach not to mention one can very clearly see its Jewish roots. Sure there there in the western liturgy as well. The "Holy, holy, holy..." is straight out of the morning prayers (the ones said while donning Tefilin). However in the Eastern liturgy, the mannerisms, the bowing, the singing, etc. is straight out of old temple worship and can still be seen among contemporary jewry particularly with the Chasadim.

Ya know...someday, when [optimism] we reunite...
I want to go to every single parish of every single flavor.
NOW that would be ultra way cool.

You could try it now. Maybe you'll decide to stay. ;)

Thanks, but I already attended an EO liturgy.
Actually a wedding.
It was nice, and it reminded me of the Catholic Church.
IT truly did.
I will do my travels and receive the Eucharist in all Churches when we are united.:)
