Two immedite needs.

1. We need more mods for this forum and quick like. If you want to apply you must PM me first so I can recommend you.

2. I didn't have anything to do with the wiki for this forum and now I don't know where to find it. I found it last week, but its not in the same place anymore.

As crazy at that may seem, I am taking car of 5 forums, so it gets a little confusing. I went looking for it, but there are so many wiki's I don't know which one is active.

Will someone please give me a link for this forums wiki? :P

I quickly saw a thread in the All Staff forum by you, I've had it grrr (http://www.christianforums.com/t5772608-ive-had-it-grrr.html).
I admit I only read the first page but got confused myself...

So are you staying on staff or not? Or still undecided?

What would you say to anyone interested in modding?
(Especially in light of your frustration)

Not trying to cause trouble here just trying to understand.

I know help is needed but is the current situation going to quickly drain others so they do not stay on staff.

I continue to pray for CF but very concerned about pressure and harassment of staff.

Thanks for bringing this out and linking here so others can what we are up against.

I don't know for sure right what I will do. I'll probably stick it out. I don't give up easily. I took a leave of absence a couple monthes ago as I had to study what was important to me and what I wanted to do. I invite everyone to read that thread, all of it, but please write your comments here so the thread doesn't get cluttered up. Its meant to address a problem and see what can be done to fix it.

Yes, I am very disguested with the new wiki rules and virtually no accountability of anyone to write what ever they want. There is simply no way to make this forum run smoothly unless we revert to some old rules and give back the moderators a little discretion as to what they can do.

As it is now our reports have as much argument and flaming as the threads do. Fortunately most of the ones I work are not full of flaming, but many are.

Moderating has never been an easy job. I've been doing it over a year, but now its impossible to do anything. There are multiple wiki's for almost every forum and they are not laid out as they should be nor are they easy to find unless you took part in them and know where to find them. I mod 5 forums and I don't have sufficient time to search for hours of rules how I am supposed to govern a forum. Thankfully I did find these again today.

Anyone who is considering to apply should have the conviction to do the job and not be thanked, and instead be harrassed and flamed. I have a thick skin so most people don't bother me and that is what is required. There are countless thousands of good people here and just enough people to stir the pot and make trouble.

I have proposed in other staff threads that reports appear only in the forum in whuch they were originated in and all posters in reports are visible to each other. This is the only way to promote accountability. If anyone isn't willing to do this then they shouldn't be posting here in my opinion. But as others have know for a while I am very opinionated :D and not afraid to speak my peace.

We despertly need more mods. ET staff alone has lost 1/3 of their staff and we now have 10 times the work. That doesn't add up to good odds of keeping peace.

Sun...you crack me up! ^_^

Jim...I've been a moderator before (not on this forum) and I know how much time it takes. I wish I could help but I just don't have the extra time right now. :sigh: I'm sorry...
