Isnt there something wrong with the apostolic denomination? being an apostle means to be sent by God, but to say everyone is an apostle saying everyone in the denomination is sent by God to do something, or saying everyone has the spiritual gift of an apostle?

I'm starting to think we need to change the name of this forum because this is the third person I've seen who seems to think that this forum is something it isn't.

what are you talking about? If i cant even ask a question that i have and is a serious question what is the point of even having this forum? It should be a ministry tool, to build people up.

Sorry, it's just than this forum doesn't represent the apostolic denomination. I don't even know what it is.

This forum is for those churches (Catholic, Anglican and Orthodox) who believe in tactile apostolic succession. So we don't believe that we are apostles. Rather, all of our bishops, priests and deacons have been ordained or consecrated by the bishops before them each of whom were consecrated with a laying on of hands by the bishops before them all the way back to the apostles.

So, these churches are apostolic not because every member of those churches are apostles (they aren't) but because all of our clergy have received their Holy Orders from others in a chain going back to the apostles, who received their Holy Orders directly from Jesus.

I hope that makes some sort of sense...
