Hi!!
We have a new proclamation that all sub-forums will be self determining, meaning we really need to be self governing and choose rules for our forum. We have made great inroads regarding our Wiki rules thanks to Jason and FnB....but what about specific moderation, stickys...etc?
Please, please contribute!

Well, you know anything I can do to help — moderating, helping to organize, etc. — I'll do! Just ask.

It would be nice to have a full moderating team of people who actually use and love this forum.
I'd be happy to help anyway I can.

Just curious where the four gradations came from? Were they designed by someone on CF, or do they come from Rome? If the gradations come from Rome, do they have a definitive list of all the first, second, third and fourths?
(I am assuming that articles of faith in the Nicene Creed would constitute Gradation 1, and I'm not sure where everything else would fall.)

they were designed by me (gradations) but represent the four levels of dogma and doctrines that are directly from Rome. The lists of examples are too lengthy to provide in the Wiki and it is assumed that study and countenance is made before disagreement. We can discuss the examples here however.
The gradations were not provided to incite dissent but to inform and educate and provide a statement that this forum will not tolerate strawmen arguments and challenges that we do not know doctrine.
Yes, the creed is part of the first gradation, dogma.

Since you are the head mod here in WWMC and LC is a subforum of WWMC - I would assume you to be at least 1 mod here in LC. maybe another liberal catholic should be appointed for LC?

Rochir,
Should'nt all the mods of the LC forum be members of this forum? Or are you saying they should be LC'er's specifically?

I think that the rules should include a LC roll call (members adding their names voluntarily). This will be used to select moderators and a simple vote can be made.

I dunno what to suggest. I suppose that we could open the vote up for anyone who visits the forum and considers themselves a "liberal".
Or should we limit it possibly to those who are regular posters?

I see what you mean. I already know who I would choose...but they would have to be willing as well.:crossrc:
