And for only $49.95 I too can have a certificate sutible for framing..It did take some soul searching though...I couldn't decide at first... Could you please define that for me first? I know I'm Spirit-filled but what is NON-WOF?

It just means that our beliefs aren't necessarily Pentecostal or Word of Faith. We are the "rest of the Charismatics" ;)

Ok, what if I'm a little of everything?

Everyone is a "little bit" of something. The point of this forum was to get away from the constant dividing debates. SirTimothy had an awesome description that explains what we believe.

No matter what, let me go ahead and welcome you here, and hope that you enjoy your fellowship. :)

I don't want to fit into one denomination, which is why I took the non-denominational icon and I am not about to be squeezed into one now. :)

Hi NewSong

I really am what I said before, a little of everything. I'm no more non WOF than I am non charismatic or Pentecostal. There is something within all of the charismatic movement that I can agree with as well as disagree with. I do belong mainly to a non-denominational charismatic church that really is perfect for me because they do teach somethings from the WOF movement but not all. My pastor and his family used to be AOG members and they still agree with the AOG on many doctrines, but not all.

So yeah, non WOF? I was wondering if that meant anti WOF? 100% anti or non WOF? I'm trying to find a forum here where I will fit in so if some of my WOF beliefs or Pentecostal beliefs that I do have is going to cause friction here I would like to know. Perhaps the bigger forum would be best for me but right now I would rather be in a smaller more intimate gathering such as this forum.

Well for me personally posting on the non-WOF forum, it just means I don't embrace the majority of the WOF belief's and it doesn't mean I am anti-WOF though I love to discuss it on the bigger forum with mature adults to get to the heart of the matter where we differ for those who know why they believe what they believe. If it means 100% anti-WOF then I suppose then I am out of here because I don't fit that criteria either. :)

I hope it's not anti-WoF. I have very dear WoF friends, and I don't try and change their minds about WoF, I'm just not comfortable with the teachings wholesale myself.

Newbie here but I would say that I am a spirit-filled charismatic who was raised Baptist, received baptism of the Holy Spirit in AoG, and prefers a prophetic, charismatic church. Our church was originally more WoF but is moving away from that more toward the prophetic and all the gifts of the Spirit.

Not sure what that makes me but I love to dance, praise, speak in my prayer language, and listen to the Holy Spirit speak to me. My desire is to be fully obedient to Jesus as Lord of my life and the prompting of the Holy Spirit but sometimes the flesh is weak. I love Jesus and long to serve Him. :D
