Provisional Rules...

Okay. I've created a wiki for the rules that I've worked on so far, found here. (http://www.christianforums.com/t5721783-wiki-charismatic-forum.html) Can all members post any suggestions either here or in the suggestion thread there.

I'd like to propose that we put these to a provisional 48 hour vote on Monday (10:00 AM GMT Monday, through to 10:00 AM GMT Wednesday) so that we have rules for the moderators to work with, then as a team and as a forum group, we can fix wording, etc, etc, to try and get a reasonably final set of rules sometime in the middle of August. Basically I'm suggesting we have a provisional set now so that we can actually have this as a safe haven, protected by rules that we can point to demonstrably.

Any editing by Pentecostals or Word of Faith members will merely cause the Wiki to be rolled back.

I would suggest that any changes made by anyone other then the three selected team members be rolled back. That was part of the purpose in selecting the team. ;)

Good idea. That might work best. Or even better yet, once we have provisional rules voted on, we could have a moderator lock it, and have the wiki team PM them with edits.

I don't think it is necessary to go that far. At least not unless we see abuses happening. For now, let's just use the "team" as the guide, and not overburden the moderators (especially since we only have flaglady at the moment).

Ok . I made some suggestions in the discussion thread .
I would like to ask only the barest ideas be used . I mean , we are a subforum . So , the only items that I see a need for would be to define that we are *not* Pentecosals and we are *not* WOF . Everything else is dealt with in the main forum .

Also........ um, geetrue and I have Pentecostal icons, but we are participating here, as neither of us considers him- or her- self a Pentecostal by doctrine. Not sure about geetrue, but I chose the icon when I joined CF because it was the only one that showed something spirit-filled on it - and at that time I thought of Charismatic and Pentecostal as synonyms. As soon as we have a Charismatic icon, I will switch, but I do not want to have an icon that does not show me as spirit filled, you understand??
