I love this example:

Taking a large 4ft peice of butcher paper, place a pin hole in one corner...
If we were to put together all of man's knowlege and belief about the nature of God down thru the ages... It would not even be comprable to this tiny pin hole.

For me the daily revelation of God's nature in relationship with me takes my breath away. I would hate to lose that by thinking I knew more than I did.
