View Full Version : When do we vote on mod's for this forum?

If I understood correctly we vote on mods for our forum, is that correct?

I believe that there should be a place for voting for mods and mod applications specifically for the SF forum, is that right?

I don't want to miss out on this specifically ... SO I hope to hear something pretty specific. :)

Actually, I think the mods are carried down from the SF/PC Forum. So the mods that are selected will be overseeing SF/PC, Pentecostal, WoF and our forum.

BTW: Mod voting is already happening, here:
http://www.christianforums.com/f639-ecumenical-moderator-applications.html

Balance and I are both applying to be moderators over SF/PC (and its subforums). Beyond that, I don't know anything else, other than the mods have to be recommended by an existing staff member to be considered.

Well if that isn't the backdoor entrance again.

I somehow get the feeling you don't like me very much. ;)

I apologize if I've done anything to offend. Not sure exactly what that might have been. I have been trying to be above the board with everything. I just don't always think of everything. :)

I don't like the way the politics are done. There should have been a formal announcement to this effect! I think we are not getting enough information.

I don't know you enough to dislike you. I know you Pm'd me and were offended by me long before I made my remarks open on the forum insinuating I was the cause of all your problems.

I'm not offended by you in the least. Never have been. I was hurt by somethings you had said and done, and brought it to you via PM. It wasn't a big deal to me, I just wanted to share that, without dragging everyone else into it.

I'm not insinuating that you are the cause of my problems. I never thought you were a problem at all. I was just apologizing for anything that I might have done to make you upset with me.

Actually at that point, I had not said anything wrong, which proves my point that you read more into things than you should. You have hurt me by your accusations and you have hurt me by bullying me. I don't like it and I want it to stop.

 Okay, I'm confused. I never said, nor meant to imply, that you did anything wrong, nor am I intending to bully you in any way. I'm simply answering your posts. I apologize for any hurt I may have inadvertantly caused you.

I like you Jason, and thank God that you are here I think it's wonderful how you show servant's heart

New Song, no-one has been bullying you and so far as I can see, nothing has been done underhanded or anything like. So please stop being so supersensitive about all this. Mostly what you have complained about so far is not in place so no-one could have done anything differently.

And actually, the mod applications are closed for the moment so although you can use the poll, it won't be counted as the infrastructure to process the applicants is not yet in place. So you were a bit pre-emptive to urge everyone to rush over and vote! But not your fault as it is not obvious.

If anyone was at fault it was me for not passing on announcements from the staff room but just as soon as they are ready to be actioned, I would have done so.

Did you read my PM from him?

BTW you can read the discussion on this in the Conference Room here (http://www.christianforums.com/t5707914).

The latest suggestion is that as soon as the structure is in place, the polls will be wiped and reset.

I know Jason's heart may desire to be right, but I too have been personally offended by him. I can forgive and forget, fortunately, but I have also seen him accuse others harshly, then come back and apologize for "not meaning to say" this or that. To me, that is not the prose of a leader or mod. No offense man, but I wouldn't vote for you.

That, however doesn't mean you wouldn't do a good job. I am extremely picky on who I prefer to be 'watched' out over.

Oh good grief! Don't that beat all!

Which of you volunteered to do what he has done! And you show so little patience, understanding or forbearance.

NVM. I won't comment back. Carry on.

Could we please not turn this into a "I like you" "I don't like you" thread? You are definately welcome to your opinions of me, and welcome to vote however you want when the time comes. I'm not offended in the least.

i wrote my post to show my support.
You had done nothing wrong Jason and I just wanted to affirm that. In fact I wish those on other forums would work as hard as you and others have here to work on rules for their forums.
