I heard this just earlier.
Though praise is needed, it must be remembered that the key problem is the age old problem of the Supremecy of the Bishop of Rome over the rest of the Christian Churches.

And the Filioque.
Although technically, the Filioque is very much related to the papal supremacy problem.

I put that on my ipod last weekend, but just listened to it this morning.
I was saying the same think, but Clark says it so much better than I do! :D

Excellent podcast. He sums up (far more eloquently) how I felt when I heard the Pope's statement.

Oh, my. I think this is the second time he's reduced me to fangirl giggles recently. ^_^

I don't mean to be the stick in the mud here, but I'm a little leery of Clark Carlton.
I read the book that was for Protestants. It was very very hateful. I heard from Macarius that Carlton's book for Roman Catholics is even more so, hateful.

What one considers hateful, the next considers the truth. I've yet to read the book, though, just a thought to consider here.

I've read the RC one, and I thought it was good, just very polemic. His refutation of Scott Hahn had me rolling on the floor with laughter (joyful, not derisive).
Regina books are typically full of typos and so forth (I figure their exorbitant prices don't go far enough to pay a copy editor?!) but the books I've read by Carlton haven't had any egregious errors that I've noticed.
