Have you heard Karen Davis' new CD "Sar Shalom" Breakthrough from the land of Israel?

I LOVE it!

I've been playing 2 songs from it in worship services...and the congregation gets blessed every time.

Besides that I really like the "Go Through The Gates" CD by Barry & Batya.

BOTH those CDs are full of congregational worship songs

oh yeah,

I have both Israel's Hope CDs and a few of Paul's since then. For a while he got away from his messianic roots but I hear he is getting more involved now.

I like Joel a lot, too. He's the P-diddy of messianic music :-)

Marty Goetz is the most humble person you'll ever meet...and every note of every song is about giving glory to the Lord. How majestic!

Jonathan Settel must also be mentioned. He's the king of the oompah beat but what most people don't know is that his heart beats evangelism. He is going after the lost sheep.

But seriously...no collection is complete without Karen Davis' new CD. Her first one was pretty good but this new one is fabbo!

Same with Barry & Batya. Their first one had a bunch of traditional songs on it, which is OK, but the new one is all original music except for "Shabechu Yerushalayim". That was the weirdest song on it at first....but now it's my favorite.

On both of those CDs EVERY SONG is great. How often does that happen?

Did I forget anyone?

Honorable mentions go to the Boskeys and David Loden.

Thanks for the recommendations! I don't have any Messianic praise music, but would like to start sampling some.

If you want a good sampler try the compilation CDs called "Heart for Israel" Volumes I, II, and III.

But I don't think any of the new Karen Davis is on those...

(why did I use roman numerals?)
