Do animals have spirit?

Do animals have spirit?

I'm questioning on some Chinese philosophy on spirit. In marital arts, some would say sink the qi and the spirit will rise to the head. I'm believing that their idea of spirit are not the same as the christian's view of the spirit.
But first I need to know if animals have spirit. Perhaps all living things have spirit. If the animals don't have spirit in case the Bible say so, then the animals can live or be alive without spirit.

Well as much as "we" would love to think that animals have spirits and thus would go to heaven with us, they don't!! (Check out Gen.1;24&25) and then vs.26-27. We are to have control over our pets, we"people" were made in the image of God, the animals not. We have the Spirit(Holy Spirit)in us after we except Jesus as Savior. We tell little children that they will see pets in heaven, cause we don't want to think we won't..
In Martial arts they feel the spirit is in everything, not the Father Son and Holy Spirit. Mart ital arts is a good way to keep your body in shape, but please don't think they come anywhere close to how we as Christians believe in our God. In Martial arts it's the spirit that is out there some place not the Holy Spirit that lives in our hearts.
So have I answered you question???? I'm sure there is so much more in the Bible about this, but I am trying to stay with the question ask.
Put your belief in Jesus and yes do exercise, Jesus good for the whole body, mind soul, exercise good for body

So the elects and the believers have the "S"pirit. Does this mean that the unbelievers have a "s"pirit. So All human beings are made in the image of God and that means all humans have "s"pirit, right?

I think that the only person who can answer this question is God. I hope that they do becuseI hope to see my babies that have gone on before me, but I guess I am going to have to wait until I get there to find out for sure.

I believe they do and I see them with us in Heaven.God's creation.Meant for us to love and they love us back.
