Thought this place was about common ground?

I'm sure our respective Churches could create lists of numerous topics that we disagree on. However i thought the reason this forum was created was so that we could discuss those issues that we have in common. Is that really going to be so difficult to do?

I was thinking of doing a similar thing myself. Perhaps leave it a week and see what happens.

If all we are going to do is start threads for the single purpose and intent of discussing bickering..then that's what you will get.

It's certainly what I hoped for - a place to fellowship with other Christians who understand Holy Tradition, etc., without having to defend these very basic beliefs we share.

I don't expect every one in here to agree with Orthodox teaching on every subject - including how we view Apostolic Succession. As I said before, if we only allow our own Church's teaching on that topic, then this forum can't exist.

There are going to be bumps as the rules are put into place. I think it is unreasonable to expect that everyone should walk in agreeing on everything. You sound like a kid that wants to take the football and leave.
