I have been interested in Orthodox Christianity for a long time. Watching these videos has really convinced me that the Orthodox Church is where I belong.

Thanks for the links.

I saw the first one on Goarch once, but never completed watching them.

BTW, I am pleased to find that this forum exists, you'll usually find me lurking in TAW.
It is a sometimes difficult thing to say that the Orthodox Church is the original Church, even though I am a full time Theology Student and Catechumen of the Church. The reason is, it's a claim that is too great and too good to be true. One feels worried about scaring off the one their talking to. I remember when I spoke to Mormons and they would always talk about their Church being the one true church.
It isn't something I find difficult to accept but rather something I occasionally find difficult to confess.

Amazing! Thank you for those.

You should join us over in The Ancient Way - we'd love to have a chance to hear your story.

Are there any parishes nearby that you can attend divine liturgy at?

Hi...
You should follow where the Spirit leads.

There was always One Church that unfortunately has various parts of itself a tad seperated, but by God's grace that will end.

Your welcome

I actually spend most my time on TAW, I just don't post much. I just read and learn there.

There is actually a lot of Orthodox Churches near me, I just haven't got the courage to attend one yet. I haven't stepped foot in any kind of church in years.

Its sounds like the Holy Spirit is telling you to go home to His place.
Rest your weary heart...and find Peace in His Churches.

Go...and you will find that Peace you are evidently yearning. :crossrc:

Goodness! A secret admirer. I hope we haven't said anything too outlandishly pigheaded, offensive, or prideful.

The best thing you can do is attend a divine liturgy and get to know a good priest. Orthodoxy, while having intellectual elements, is about praxis, discipleship, prayer, asceticism, and love. Find a parish that's in your language if possible (English, I assume). OCA and Antiochean tend to be more convert friendly, though many many Greek parishes are as well.

Let us know if there's anything we can do to help!

In Christ,
Macarius

TAW is one of the few placed that I don't find offensive. I also like the Oriental Orthodox forum and the Catholic forum here also.

Wow! A secret admirer! I never knew! :D

I wish I could watch those videos you posted. I have crummy, crummy dial-up.

No pressure, but if you do ever decide to go to an Orthodox Church, feel free to ask for tips from us on what to expect, "etiquette", and the like, if you think it would be helpful.
