I took the liberty of setting up a WIKI - pleeeeease edit, contribute, completely-change if you want - I just wanted to have something up there.......

I would recommend instead of people just popping up rules on their own, that we work by consensus, hold votes and the like.

If you want a rule for example. Spell out what you want in a poll thread, and set a time limit for voting.

See what I mean?

Are you suggesting voting on each rule that someone wants to add? Some congregational forums are having to resort to that process, and I think it's impractical and overly time-consuming. Wouldn't it be better to discuss things in the wiki thread and then add them if there seems to be a pretty good consensus? Unless there's a lot of contention over something, I don't see the point of voting on each little thing that someone wants to add or edit or delete from the wiki.

Thanks, Tal.
Please - no voting!!
It's causing such a lot of problems everywhere else - and there are not very many of us here at the moment - i am sure we can work out something we all agree on!
