There are those in my congregation that have been fasting and in prayer in the forty days leading up to Yom Kippur. Our Rabbi told us that the L-rd had put upon his heart to fast one meal a day and in that time to be in prayer for many things. Mainly:

Israel

Her repentance and turning towards G-d

Her Protection & safety in these perilous times
A keeping from the coming deception
Unsaved Jews around the world

Unsaved in general especially in our area

Repentance for our own sins and drawing in closer to the L-rd

Our nation and our President and leaders, especially in their decisions that may involve Israel and in doing the right things for our country

Our unsaved family members

Our congregation, Spiritual protection and blessings on all

A facility for our growing congregation

I am just wondering if there is anyone else that is doing this in the Messianic world or even in the Christian churches?

Our Congregation is doing the exact same thing :) 40 days of prayer and fasting.

The L-rd must be speaking to all the Messianic Rabbi's hearts, I pray that they will all hear and heed. :)
