Staff Return

I was wondering, I have seen a lot of ex Staff members returning and with the new policy I was wondering how that is done. I understand that for new mods ( ones who have never been on staff before) have to be voted in, but what of ones that were on staff previously, what is the protocol for that?

I thought that even the current mods have to be voted in, right?
So I think that would mean that those who used to be mods would also have to be voted in.

The way I understand it is, some were returning from LOAs. The admins were brought back by Erwin though. Because the Superadmin role is not a moderating role those people are appointed by Erwin not voted in by the members. It is in a wiki or announcement somewhere. I will try to find it :)
